Part of being tough is getting into a fight, right?
Wrong. Well, not mostly, depends how you go about it, most people are extremely scared of direct confrontation, it's why we have snail mail, e-mail, text, bbm, so you can go talk about someone in a way you usually wouldn't... For fear of a confrontation.
Case in point; three guys, one girl.
Guy A: Owns house
Guy B: Stays with Guy A but Guy A is mad at her
Girl: Is the girlfriend of Guy B but Guy A hates it
Guy C: Lives elsewhere closeby but has nothing to do with it but is good friends with Guy A and Girl.
Fight Formula:
Guy A + Guy B = Anger, Girl < Anger, Girl = Flight instead of Fight, Girl goes to Guy C for help at 1:45am and stays the night.
A+B (elevated anger)
-------------------- = Fight
C+Girl
I'll put fist to the face of a guy before I'll even marginally raise my voice to a woman, call me old fashioned but my folks programmed me that way, unfortunately A+B learned no such lesson and decided verbal abuse was their way to go.
Unfortunately in this situation Guy C decided not to do anything and let it play out. Bad idea...
What C should have done is right away gone to talk to A+B, however, given the 1:45am time, all guy A wanted to do was sleep. Bad idea since keeping Guy C's nose clean just made it worse.
So the question is, what does Guy C do?
